Model Prime Ministerial Debate (MPMD) 2016
MPMD goes to the Grand Final Round!!! It will take place at Himawari Hotel Apartments on Sunday, October 9th from 8:30 to 11:30 am. The 4 finalists, Chan Sambath, Soktinphallin Chhi, Chou Vithoureakborndith and Sereyboth Sour, will debate social issues in Cambodia and also will provide possible solutions with practical policies to solve these problems. Congratulations for Winning the YSEALI Innovation Challenge!

Congratulations, Cambodian Team – Cam Fermentation Kits (CFKs) from Institut de Technologie du Cambodge (ITC) for being selected as one of the top three finalists of USAID Asia. After months of hard work and competing with other ASEAN youth on innovative technology-based solutions, CFKs and other 2 teams will be pitching their ideas at the ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Science and Technology in late October.



Speaker Discusses 2016 U.S. Presidential Elections

On September 21, Betsy Fischer Martin, an IIP Speaker on U.S. Elections, led a discussion on 2016 Presidential Elections with more than 200 Cambodian university students, educators and YSEALI members at Pannasastra University of Cambodia. Ms. Martin described the U.S. electoral system, and she highlighted how the election is governed.










Leadership Opportunity with The Asia Foundation

The Asia Foundation Development Fellows: Emerging Leadership for Asia’s Future program is now seeking highly qualified young change makers from Asia to join its fourth cohort of 2017 Fellows.

Scholarship Opportunity for Cambodian Women to study in the US

SHE-CAN (formely Open A Door) is a US based non-profit dedicated to building global female leadership by equipping young women from post-conflict countries with the training and support they need to win US scholarships and return home as change agents.

SHE-CAN is seeking smart, ambitious, low-income young Cambodian women interested in applying for US college scholarships to join its program for 2017. Applications are due on November 1st.
